#821 Baker.

We have the happiest dog in the world. I mean, look at this guy:

I swear he sat just like this, unmoving except for his tail for 10 minutes. Just looking at me. Isn’t that the sweetest?

He smiles like that and stares at us intently every time we walk into the yard. Tail wagging and everything. And it’s terribly endearing. He’s also learned how to sit upright on his butt and hug people with his top legs.

Chevy’s camera shy and won’t sit still and/or smile for a picture. So I guess it’ll be a while before we can work up his dance routine.

Oh, guess what else? We didn’t hook them up because they’ll have to be moved to install the backsplash and countertops, but…

Loving my craigslist appliances. We saved so huge and got exactly what we wanted. How often does that happen?

  1. I love it! Abby does this too. It seems as though she always has this big goofy grin on her face. I like to imagine that it's because we took her away from the pound and gave her a forever home. I'm sure Baker feels the same way. 🙂

  2. I want to see some Abby pictures! You've not posted on your blog in too long. It's time.

I'm pretty sure it's got to be a pound puppy face. Right?!

    • I was actually thinking of that today. I'll have to post something tonight for sure.

And yes! Definitely must be a pound puppy thing. I don't think we'll ever get another dog that's NOT from the pound. It's just such a great satisfaction to witness the evolution as they go from being timid and unsure of their new surroundings, to a confident and happy dog.
