#383 Mammaw’s sunglasses.

Lately, my precious grandmother has been having trouble with her eyes. She loves to get outside and walk and read on her porch, but the sunlight is too strong for her eyes since the stroke a couple years ago. She told me she loved my Ray-Bans last time I was there. That she thought sunglasses would solve all her problems.
Tonight we went to her house to have dinner and I said, “Hey Mammaw… I got you a surprise yesterday. Wanna see?”
She said, “Oh babe! What is it?”

I said, “New sunglasses! Just like mine!”

“These are going to help SO much. I’ll be outside now.”
I think we should go Beetle bopping with the top down soon. I mean, if it ever really warms up.

  1. Hello, I have been really curious as to the meaning of "beetle bopping." I have looked far and wide across the internet and all I could find is that it is another name for the car game "slug bug" in some places, but I am sure your grandmother has no interest in this sort of nonsense. Im thinking that "beetle bopping," in this context, refers more to some sort of leasure activity? Any clues would be most appreciated. Thank you so much for your time and pictures of your beautiful family.
