#2,177 New Neighbors + Oh Christmas Tree.

This morning our old friend Adam Trest stopped by the shop to borrow my Pantone book and shared some exciting news with us. They’ll soon be opening a storefront just a few doors down the street from Lucky Luxe and as he was telling me their plans for the store, my heart was racing thinking how special it will be and what a great asset to the neighborhood it’s going to be.

It’s so cool to see this little town changing right before our eyes!

And since it’s been on our to-do list for 2 weeks and we’ve still not had time to go to the Christmas tree farm, tonight in an effort not to be the very last people on Earth to put up our tree, we went to Lowe’s and bought a fresh fir. It’s beautiful and will do the job, but it’s just so magical to drive out to the farm and choose and cut your own tree. Next year, we’ll get back on track!

Whew. With 2 weeks to spare. Now I need to think about Christmas gifts… Yikes.

  1. Your home looks amazing! Still no Christmas tree here, so you’re definitely not the last people without one 😉 Though if it were up to us, we’d have put one up last week… Oh well.

    • Thank you, Camille! We normally put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving, but the store launch delayed our life for a few days.

  2. Still no tree at my house – hopefully this weekend! The rest of the house is decorated though so I don’t feel toooo far behind! 🙂

Your home is spectacular! What a cozy and welcoming place you’ve created! Love it!

    • Yes! We got all the other decorations up, so the tree was the last thing. Except for the stockings which we just found this morning. So now we are DONE!
