#1,919 Good Morning.

We’re in our warm weather routine 100% now, with porch breakfasts and The Drifters on Pandora. It feels good to be back.

This is a fat, happy dog.

And this is a husband who knows how to service his wife’s old car so she can scoot around town.

And this is 80 degrees with the top down and the Chi-Lites.

In other news, I’ve been thinking how I’d like to try eye makeup. I’ve always just put on a little bit of mascara, but now I’m beginning to feel like I’d like to wear a little more. Today I tried eyeliner for the first time. Can you see it?

Also, what are your favorite under eye concealers and eye creams? I think it’s smart to start taking care of that delicate skin around my eyes and I’d love your recommendations!

Sorry for this overly girly post today, Jake! Back to our normal programming tomorrow!

  1. I bet your mom has told you its never to early to start taking care of your skin…..the two best things you can do to keep yourself looking young is to not smoke and stay out of the sun. Next is to get some good product. I have started using Rodan + Fields products and love the results. They have a good eye cream that is improving my crows feet.

And I don't mind girly posts……I live with a household of men so it's nice to read something girly!

    Happy spring

  2. I like the eye liner on you!

I use Bare Mineral products as well, but have been blessed with great genes relating to skin. Am a pretty low maintenance girl, so just a dab of BM eye cream at night is all I use.

  3. Nice eyeliner! My favourite is Rimmel London's Exaggerate waterproof mascara. I love the smudge brush on the end. The best neutral eyeshadow palette around is Urban Decay Naked2 (expensive…but worth it) and I love this under eye concealer/serum I've found called Covergirl & Olay's Eye Rehab. It gives coverage but is super hydrating too. The trick is to put it in a triangle shape under your eye not in a half circle (http://www.15minutebeauty.com/2014/05/best-concealer-tips-tricks.html). For the rest of my makeup, I use Bare Minerals too.
