#1,521 They Found It!

Great news–they found what’s been making me so sick all these years. I have scar tissue attached to my intestinal and abdominal walls and just about everything possible. Including my ovaries. It could be from endometriosis (which I’ve never had symptoms of), but it could be from something else. Because there was so much, they only looked around today with laparoscopy and weren’t prepared to remove anything, and they saw no signs of cancer. Wahooooooo!!!!

I truly felt your prayers through the night and today. I did a little crying but I never could have been this calm of my own accord without your prayers. I’m 100% certain.
I’m going to have to schedule another surgery to have all of that removed in the next week or so up at the hospital in Jackson, but that’s okay. I’m going to finally feel better. Anyway, I love each one of you who prayed. I felt them all.
P.s.
If any of you have had endometrial surgery I could really use some encouraging stories right about now.
Encouraging ones!

  1. So, so glad to hear it! What a relief to finally have the problem named, and a permanent solution on the horizon… I don't have any personal experience with this kind of surgery, but it seems like a bunch of my friends have, and they all came through with flying colors. I know you will, too! We'll be sure to keep praying that everything goes smoothly next week. Hope you can rest up and relax in the meantime!

  2. I have a friend who did brilliantly with that surgery! So glad to hear you got some useable news and a way forward!! God bless y'all!!!

  3. So glad to hear that you finally have answers and a game plan. For God knows the plans he has for you… continue to pray and lean on him. He's got this…. Continuing praying

  4. I'm so happy that you you feel relieved and that they have found the source of your pain! I don't know too much about the surgery, but I'm sure you will do just fine 🙂

  5. Erin,
My sister Joanie suffered with endometriosis for years. It's a terrible thing that causes horrible pain. GOOD NEWS is that my sister had surgery, had it ALL removed and is a HOT MAMA POWERHOUSE today! She can run circles around the rest of us. You will be fine and as soon as you get that gunk out of you, you will feel so much better. It's scary to think of what you will be able to accomplish when you are at 100%, because you are amazing and have accomplished so much already in your young life. I am forever your cheerleader.

  6. For this is but a season and as we know seasons change. We all grow from these seasons and find ourselves knowing God deeper and longer and stronger because He truly is our healer. He heals today just as he did when he walked the earth. Prayer makes the difference and now there are hundreds praying for you. Blessings, Debbie
