#1,520 I’m Scared.

Well I went to the doctor today and they’ve decided to do explorative surgery tomorrow morning. This is good because we might find some answers, but I’m terrified too because I’ve never had any kind of surgery before.

I need you, friends. Please pray for wisdom for my doctors, and healing for me. Thank you all for being here. I might be missing for a few days while I recover, but I’ll be back eventually. Would so appreciate your love and prayers at 10:45 am central time on Wednesday, and in the days ahead. Y’all are the best.

P.S.
I just had an hour long phone conversation with Lisa, my hero and friend who came into my life thanks to this blog. She’s been through much tougher surgeries than me, and thanks to her I’m going to sleep tonight knowing that someone in Indiana is praying for me tomorrow and that when I come out on the other side, I’ll have a new gift from God. We don’t know what it is yet, but it’s going to be something more wonderful than any fear can squash. Thank you Lisa!

  1. Thinking of you tomorrow morning and during your recovery. I hope that they are able to find some resolution for you and these attacks you've had to endure. It may be a blessing in disguise to have this now and not as you got ready to leave for Italy in the fall.

Rest up and take care of yourself. If you need post-surgery recovery movie suggestions, you have a film producer who is happy to help out from afar 🙂

  2. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Someone in Ohio is praying for you as well. Take care of yourself.

  3. Sending prayers, positive vibes and big hugs from Oklahoma! And crossing my fingers hard that through this there will be hope and resolution for all that you have been through with this sickness. Lots of love!

  4. I had an unexpected surgery done almost two months ago exactly. I was also very nervous because it was my first surgery. You will be fine.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 KJV)
