#1,324 The Candle.

It’s July. Well, for one more day it will be. And I bought a fall flavored candle that cost $5 at Walmart today because I idly sniffed it and it gave my mood a 100% improvement, and I was already in a good mood. I lit that candle when I got home and it turned my life into a romantic comedy about New England in October. While we watched The Sopranos. Real fall will begin in 2 months, but football season begins in 1 month so we’ll use that as the official start of autumn even though it’ll still be 95 degrees out, right?

Go to Walmart and get this candle, dear reader. You will thank me.

  1. I was smelling the fall candles at Walmart just the other day. Can't wait for football even though it's still 108 here! Love autumn!

  2. My husband is counting down the days til football begins….because that is the true indicator that the fall season has arrived!

Our high school football is very big in my small town; the school has won several state championships in the last few years. ESPN even was here last year to televise a game. And it is officially fall when UT football begins.

Nothing like SEC football! GO VOLS!!

    • My daddy keeps up with how many days till football season begins and I believe it's less than 30 days till Ole Miss's first game. Hotty toddy! 😉
