#1,006 Snapster.

Have you tried this app for iPhone? I’ve been having the best time taking regular, boring photos and giving them all these beautiful filters! I know this is the sort of thing real photographers hate, isn’t it? It’s like a crutch for actual good photography. But I’m all about.

Thanks for the recommendation, Patrick!

  1. Hi Erin (I feel like I can call you Erin, since I've just read your entire blog over a period of one week),

I found your blog through the site of Lucky Luxe which I found through I-have-no-clue-how, but boy am I happy I found it! I love your concept of writing every day about something you're thankful for, I love your family (I felt like a bit of a voyeur, but I fell in love with them right away), I love your obvious love for your husband and his love for you. I just loved everything.

I also wanted to thank you for showing a Belgian girl how you Southerners see yourself and your part of the country (I only really know NY and California) and how much you enjoy your work. You're a real inspiration. And the moment my boyfriend asks me to marry him, I'll know who to contact for the invitations 🙂 (I did get that you ship across the continents, right?)

Thank you for the last couple of days: I've started to see the world through your eyes and boy, do I like it more than ever!

  2. Awww Camille! What a sweet sweet note! I'm so glad you've wound up here as a daily reader, and I hope the boring days of my life don't run you off! 😉 The south is a funny place. It's definitely different from NY and California… Which I guess you've noticed at this point! We absolutely would love to work with you when the day comes, and I hope it's not far off! See you around here, missy!

  3. Aw, thanks Ben! I'm from Antwerp and always dreamed of doing my last year of high school in America, but unfortunately that never really happened. I also think I would've ended up a ocuple of years behind you guys, so… Oh well 😉

Wedding plans are still a bit off, since 1) he still needs to ask me and 2) I'm still pretty young, but I always like to plan in advance and we have discussed it already. That means I'm not totally obsessed about getting married, right? Right, thought so.

Oh, and those boring days? Those mean you are normal. At least you're not pretending you're living the most exciting and most supernatural life out there, which would be weird. I love those lazy boring days, since they're what everyone can relate to 🙂

I'll be following closely, since your blog does in fact make my day (no pressure ;))!
